What is glass²?
Glass² is glass that is made out of 99% recycled material. It is glass based, not a resin base.

How does glass² come?
It comes in slab form and ranges from 16mm to 35 mm thick.

Can glass² be used for countertops?
Yes, definitely. A common use is for countertops and has very similar characteristics to marble, onyx, and granite.

Will glass² stain?
It does not absorb anything, from acid to wine. It will not stain.

How is it for fabrication?
Glass² can be fabricated by both stone and glass fabricators with regular tools. It can be cut in any shape, and drill hole cutouts can be completed easily.

Can we buy glass² for columns?
Yes, glass² can be bent to shape in production and can be used for columns. (Custom order only)

Will glass² change color?
The color is permanent and will never change due to any circumstance.

Can it be repaired if scratched?
Glass² is different than regular glass and can be repaired easily, if scratched in the same way that you would repolish a marble slab.

Is glass² tempered?
No, glass²is not a tempered product.

Would glass² be classified as safety glass?
No, but we do have wired glass, and that would be safety glass.

What is wired glass?
